Our company was established in May of 1963 by Jim Martin Sr. Since then, Jim Martin & Associates, Inc. has represented leading plumbing manufacturers in South Central Texas.
James Sr. worked out of his house until 1972 when he bought a small office near downtown San Antonio. Now owner Jim Martin Jr. joined the firm in June 1976 after earning a degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Jim Jr. purchased the agency from James Sr. in May of 1985. In 1996, Jim Martin & Associates, Inc. grew out of our original downtown location and moved the office to a larger facility. In 1999, due to more growth, we moved to to our current Rittiman Road office. Since then, we have continued to add space to our warehouse. Jim Martin, Jr., completed his accreditation as a Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative (CPMR) in 2002. In March 2007, James Martin III began working for Jim Martin & Associates, Inc. making him the third generation family member to work for the company. James is also a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio where he earned a degree in Business Administration. Additionally, James completed his CPMR certification in 2015. Jim Martin & Associates, Inc. employs five sales professionals working with architects, engineers, owners, contractors, and wholesale plumbing distributors. We deal in high-end manufacturers of plumbing suppliers such as Bradley Corporation, Stiebel Eltron, Elkay Manufacturing, Mifab Drainage Products, McGuire Manufacturing, Scientific Plastics, Symmons Industries, T&S Brass, and more. We service the South Central Texas areas of Austin, Round Rock, Marble Falls, New Braunfels, San Marcos, San Antonio, Kerrville, Corpus Christi, Victoria, Laredo, Brownsville, McAllen, Harlingen, Beeville, and Pharr.
